EmergencyHousing.CA
EmergencyHousing.CA is a Housing First, rights-based practice and public toolkit for people experiencing housing precarity, homelessness, or violence in Ontario. This standalone site is the guided-pathways desk: interviews that fill letters and checklists. Nothing about a person is stored.
Housing comes first. Supports are chosen, not required. Rights under the Human Rights Code cannot be signed away. A human rights approach names who is responsible to whom.
What this desk is
- Guided pathways toward the LTB, HRTO, AODA requests, SPP, shelter, and income supports
- Print-only tools (clock, calculators, SWOT, case plan, checklists)
- A directory that sits beside Homeless Hub, the Homelessness Learning Hub, Canada Without Poverty, A Way Home Canada, the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness, CERA, ACTO, Legal Aid clinics, and Tribunals Ontario
What it is not
- Not legal advice and not a retainer
- Not a Service Manager, CAS, LTB, or HRTO determination
- Not a place to store a file about a person
