Eviction pathway

Other eviction notices — N5, N6, N7, N8, N12, N13

Every notice has a clock, a legal test, and a set of defences. An N12 (own use) requires good faith and usually compensation. An N13 (demolition / conversion / repairs) has longer notice and compensation rules. N5 issues can often be corrected. Disability, family status, and receipt of public assistance cannot be used as a shortcut to eviction — the Code prevails.
