Prepare for an LTB hearing

Hearings at the LTB are now often virtual. You can have a representative, a support person, and duty counsel. Ask for accommodation early (break, interpreter, extra time, paper instead of portal, support person). Tenant Duty Counsel may be available. Tell the truth; keep to dates; ask for the order you want. Housing First at a hearing means the remedy should keep someone housed if the law allows it.
