Income crisis — OW, ODSP, CSUMB, rent help

Income is a housing right issue. OW emergency assistance, Community Start-Up and Maintenance Benefit (or the local equivalent), ODSP discretionary benefits, the Canada-Ontario Housing Benefit, and municipal rent banks exist so that people are not evicted into homelessness. Receipt of public assistance is a Code ground — a landlord cannot refuse you for it.
