Social housing pathway
Special Priority Policy — fleeing abuse or trafficking
Special Priority Policy (SPP) is a statutory fast-track onto the centralized social-housing wait list for eligible survivors of abuse and trafficking. You should not have to perform your trauma. This pathway builds a file checklist and a cover letter. Use a safe device. Do not put a hidden address or a child’s full name on a screen that can be seen. Print and take the paper with you. If you are in danger, call 911 or the Assaulted Women’s Helpline: 1-866-863-0511.
