This comprehensive self-paced course equips housing support workers, tenant advocates, case managers, paralegals, and safety specialists with the knowledge and skills to deliver rights-based, trauma-informed services across Ontario. Learners will master Ontario’s legislative frameworks—the Human Rights Code , Housing Services Act , and Residential Tenancies Act —alongside best practices in trauma-informed care , adult learning engagement , and training evaluation via the Kirkpatrick Model . Through interactive scenarios, legislative deep-dives, practical assignments, and reflective exercises, participants will learn to navigate eviction prevention, tenant advocacy at the Landlord and Tenant Board, limited-scope legal representation, keyholding and safety protocols, property management collaboration, and specialized agent authority responses in high-risk housing situations.
