Find the right office in Ontario
Search stays on this device. Results are a starting point from public directories, not a live feed. Call before a person travels. Housing First still applies: the office is a door, not a test.
1. Service Manager / housing registry (47 areas)
Service Managers run centralized wait lists for rent-geared-to-income housing, homelessness programs, and often SPP. Search by city, township, or board name.
2. Children’s Aid Society / Indigenous Child and Family Well-Being Agency
Use this when a child or youth’s safety is part of the housing plan, when a society is already involved, or when a mandated report question arises. Indigenous families have a right to culturally aligned agencies where they exist. Confirm catchment by phone — some cities have more than one society.
3. Social housing providers and municipal registries
Most new RGI offers still go through the Service Manager wait list. Local housing corporations manage stock after an offer. Search a municipality to see the access centre plus known local providers.
This list highlights major corporations and access centres. Hundreds of non-profit providers sit behind each centralized list. Ask the Service Manager for the building-selection package for that municipality.
