PLEO – Parents’ Lifeline of Eastern Ontario – A free, peer-support service for parents/caregivers of children and youth (0–25) facing mental health or addiction issues. Offers a weekday helpline, monthly support groups, and intensive one-on-one community-based peer support.
Ottawa Police Service – Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Section
A specialized unit within the Ottawa Police Service dedicated to investigating sexual assaults, child abuse, and neglect cases across the Ottawa region. The section provides sensitive, trauma-informed investigations conducted by trained officers. They work collaboratively with other community agencies—such as hospitals, victim support services, and child welfare—to ensure survivors receive holistic support, confidentiality, and professional follow-through.
Canadian Forces Member Assistance Program (CF MAP) – A confidential, free, 24/7 counselling and short‑term support service for CAF members and eligible families, offered by DND/Health Canada. Provides phone, in-person, or online session options and referrals for further care when needed.
